Hello!

Is it possible to run a Palit 980 TI with an Asus 980Ti Strix 6gb graphics card in SLI?

CPU: I5 4970K

MOBO: MSI Z97S Sli Krait Edition Motherboard

PSU: RM 850w

Case: NZXT H440

Thanks guys!

Solution
its entirely possible but not recommended.
(Meant to say it will definitely work, but is not ideal)

There can be many problems with GPU's set at different speeds and with different VBIOS settings and such.

The most common problem is that the lower speed one will slow down the other one and both will be locked to the lower settings.

Yes, it's fine. Brand plays no part - it's the nVidia chip at the heart of it all that matters.

While slight variances in clock speed between brands/models is not ideal, the highest common denominator prevails - so that extra few MHz on one card is pointless, but SLI shouldn't be a problem.
