I'm planning to do an SLI bridge 3 way. However I dont have a 3 way sli bridge but have alot of 2 way sli bridges. Is there any way I can sli with the 2 way sli bridges to make a triple sli?
Yes. But 1 has to be really long and flexible. If the motherboard supports 3way sli they normally come with the bridge.
So how do i do it? DO i connect the first and 2nd graphic cards with a 2 way sli bridge and then connect the 2nd and third graphic cards with another 2 way sli bridge?
Is it advisable to put the cards in slots not recommended by the manual. The reason is because the place where u plug in the usb for the front panel and the io connectors are blocking the lowest slot
If you have the 28 lane cpu(5820k) you're probably going to want to put them in the recommended slots. But, If you have the cpu with 40 lanes then you maybe able to use any combination of the ports used for 4 way SLI.
