sli bridge help

want to put 2080ti in first pcie lane and another in 4th pcie lane will i need 4 slot bridge or 3 slot bridge

3 slot width bridge is necessary (obviously).

What motherboard are you using? Are you sure it supports SLI?

SLI is supported only with slots PCI_E1 and PCI_E4.
Between E1 and E2 there is distance of 2 slots. So SLI bridge between E1 and E4 will be 4 slots wide.

Your motherboard is bundled with SLI HB Bridge L. You don't need to buy it separately.
