Is an SLI bridge something I should spend a lot of money on? I see 3 ways for $5 bucks up to $250. Is there a real difference?

No, they will all perform the same.

Some look a little nicer than others but that's about it.

only buy a three way if you are using 3 cards.

Instead of upgrading to the 980 ti, I bought 2 asus Direct Contact 670 and this rig already had 1. Im trying to build it for my girl who wants to get the Acer Predator x34 G Sync monitor. She loves the Ultra Wide feel. Thanks for the help.

3340 x 1440 on 670s?


You sure that was the best move?

Ultra wide is much more demanding the 1440.

And the vram isn't even enough for 2560 x 1440 without most games becoming a stutter fest.

Also look at the benchmarks - games at this resolution are going as low as 5 fps on recent titles.
