SLI Configuration issue

I have two graphics cards and have used an SLI bridge to connect them. The issue is that when i go to nvidia control panel the SLI configuration does not show up.

MOBO MSI 970 Gaming
GPU#1 Evega nvidia GTX 970 4gb SC
GPU#2 Evega nvidia GTX 970 4gb SCC

am i doing something wrong here?

Are both GPU's connected to the PSU? Which PSU do you have?

its a cosair cx 750m and yes they are both connected. I should also add that when i open the bios and use the motherboard explorer, both video cards are detected. Also used a program called GPU-Z which confirmed both cards are connected

Have you always had 2 970's or have you just added one? If you have just added one try removing the GPU driver and reinstalling it

okay I have an update, so now both cards are showing up on the Nvidia control panel, the only issue is that it it keeps asking for the SLI bridge even though it is connected.

Also, I just bought the GTX 970 SCC and assumed I could SLI it with with the SC. do you think this could be an issue?

I will reinstall the drivers and let you know how it goes.
