SLI Configuration Question

I was just wondering if it is possible to use two gtx 970s from two different companies in SLI configuration?

Yes, just make sure your MB supports at least PCIE x8,x8 and you have a good quality 700W(+) PSU.

Probably. Depends which models the cards are but will likely work. Also, they will be clocked down to the lesser card's speeds.

Thanks everyone for the replies! I have a good power supply and motherboard so that will not be a problem.
The reason why I wanted to do SLI is that I already have a Pc with GTX 970. However, I do not have access to it until next summer so i wanted to buy another GTX 970 to use it with the PC I am using right now. I just wanted to use both GPU's in SLI when I have access to the other PC.
