SLI GTX 980 OC watercooled vs SLI GTX titan X without watercooling, which will give the most performance?

watercooling cost almost the same as GTX titan x where i live, so i can either go with 2 SLI GTX 980 OC watercooled or 2 SLI GTX titan X without watercooled

so which one would give me the most of the gaming performance?

Hard to tell. If You go after Matrix/20th Anniversary Edition from Asus, You might be kicking the Titan's ass, when You OC them under water, so it depends on the types You're willing to go to.

P.S.: Both configurations are worth of 4k gaming, or 3 LCD at full HD. Are You gonna run Your system on those LCDs?

im getting the Asus ROG SWIFT so im going to be gaming on 1440p at 120-144fps i dont care much for 4k its not optimized yet : )

The 2 titan x will perform much better of course. Even with watercooling enabling a bigger overclock than air cooling, it will not make up for the big difference. Also the Titans have 12 gb of vram, while the GTX 980 is stuck at 4gb of vram.
