Hello, can you run a 570gtx an a 580gtx in SLI mode

If I recall, they have to be exactly identical cards in order for SLI to work. If you currently have a Gigabyte 570 GTX, you'll need another Gigabyte 570 GTX in order to SLI. In addition, you'll also need a power supply big enough to handle these power-hungry cards and a motherboard with 2 PCI-express x16 slots. Someone should verify this just to be sure as I'm taking this from other posts I've read.

impossible, you can sli only same models (e.g gtx570+gtx570 or gtx580+gtx580).

I don't believe they have to be the same vendor either. As long as the chip and settings are the same it should work.

Correct. You can use different brands of Nvidia cards for SLI provided that they are the same GPU.

eg 570 only with a 570, 580 only with a 580
