SLI on Gigabyte H97 Gaming 3 Mobo

I own a Gigabyte h97 gaming 3 mobo and a gigabyte g1 gtx 970 gaming.
I'd like to set a SLI with 2 of gtx 970 but I think that's not possible.
Can you tell me if it is?

the board doesnt have support for sli unfortunately.

I wouldn't bother with SLI anyways, the driver support is pretty poor nowadays.

if its like chipsets these days you would need a Z series mobo for SLI. a motherboard with a H97 chipset would be pretty low on features if not a barenbones motherboard

Your motherboard only supports AMD Crossfire; not NVidia SLI. Just stick with the single GTX 970.
