SLI or no

I got this board when I first started building I used 2 AMD GPU's in crossfire X. Well they died and I got a GTX 760 to replace it. I want to get another for SLI but tiger direct or newegg says nothing about SLI. The motherboard is a GIGABYTE GA-Z77-DS3H Intel 7 Series Motherboard.

if crossfire works then sli should definitely work as well

you can but there may be diminished returns due to the fact that your second slot is 2.0 at x4 (it will be minimal at best though and wouldnt worry to much about it)

According to the Gigabyte website this board only supports Crossfire and not Sli. I would assume that means Sli wont work.

Ah he is right. however i do believe you can update this board to allow for sli. if you give me a sec il hunt down the info.

I suggest you look into hypersli. i know little about it as i have never had to deal with it personally.

It all may be more hassle than its worth

no brother, for SlI PCI Express x16 slot need one is x16 and other x8 required. or both x16 speed
