SLI with 2x 1080 NOT WORKING

I just tried to install a 2nd 1080 onto my ASUS IX Formula motherboard. The top card is working. I have tried 2 different Bridges (one from motherboard box and one ASUS SLI HB Bridge). In BIOS, I can see both cards. Once I boot up, I cannot see the second card and in Nvidea there are no options for SLI. I have tried to restart and reinstall.

SUMMARY: Bio sees both cards. Device manager sees original. No SLI config options,

Is your motherboard an SLI rated MB?

What models are the two cards? both Asus Strix?
