Slight Improvments Upgrading GPU

Good evening guys !

I just recently upgraded gpu , went from 960 msi 4gb to a 1070ti Zotac and barely felt any diffrence. I still get drops in certain areas while playing games.
Any help would be appriciated.

I got a i5 8600k i doubt the cpu is the problem
And 750W psu

Did you remove old drivers and install new ones?

What games are you playing?
How much has your average frame rate changed?
Try getting MSI afterburner and monitoring GPU usage - it should generally reach 100% while playing- see where the bottleneck is.
Try disabling Vsync.

Your CPU is perfectly fine. I wonder how much RAM you have? Anyways there can be 2-3 reasons

1) Your Previous Drivers

Download DDU(Display Driver Uninstaller) and completely uninstall GPU Drivers and then install latest drivers.

2) Your Hard drive(If your games are on mechanical or your windows) is fragmented

Download a HDD Defrag tool and Defrag.

3) You have less RAM

8GB sufficient for most of the games but GTA V, COD WW2 would require more RAM.
