slow and choppy

Any advice on how to improve my proformance. I upgraded from ME to XP and
ever since and even before it is slow and choppy. When ever I switch windows
they load uneven and in pieces. I probably haven't explained that well the
best description is "choppy". I have upgraded my RAM to 250 meg.

Upgrade your video driver, go to the manufacturer's web site and look around for an
update.
