Hi all!
I have a Trendnet Tew-432Bpr router with Desktop PC connected to it via LAN cable and a Laptop with wireless connection. Lately I've noticed a great drop in my internet browsing speed on the both computers. I tried bypassing the router and connected the Desktop directly to my cable modem, the speed was back on.
I've called the Trendnet support and the guy there told me that the router doesn't affect the internet browsing speed and it's just routing so the problem is not the router. If so buying a new router will not solve the problem.
Can there be another reason for the speed drop while connected through the router? Or the guy from the support is wrong and the router could be the problem?
Thanks.
