Slow internet speed with ethernet cable

Hey guys im really confused right now because i have an amazing router 75up and 75down but when i connect my pc to the router useing ethernet my linkspeed is around 1mbps and the router is right next to the pc if you need anything else just tell me

Did you make the cable or is it a commercial cable? Have you tried alternate cables?

What model router? What does Windows Task Manager -> Networking tab say for link speed?

oh its fine now thanks lol i just had to restart my router
