Slow Internet Speed

My internet connection has been insanely slow lately and i cant seem to figure out why. I have a wifi card in my gaming pc (heres the link to the one i own: http://www.amazon.com/TP-LINK-TL-WDN4800-Wireless-Express-Low-profile/dp/B007GMPZ0A/ref=sr_1_1 ie=UTF8&qid=1436495331&sr=8-1&keywords=wifi+card). I have verizon fios in the tri state area and i pay for 25mb up and down. However when i do a speed test on speedtest.net my results are like 5mb down and 3mb up. Am I missing something? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Check with your ISP if they have been having problems and see if your speedtest results are within their range.
