Slow performance after changing motherboard and ram?

I've clean installed windows, reinstalled all my drivers, and reset the bios but my computer is still performing slow. I went from a MSI FM2-A75MA-E35 motherboard to a MSI A55M-E35 one and from Corsair Vengeance 8 GB (2 x 4 GB) CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9 to Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB (1 x 8 GB) BLS8G3D1609DS1S00. I don't believe there should have been much of a performance change because of the hardware so I'm thinking I probably did something wrong. What could the issue be?

Is dual channels enough to bring my fps from 150 to 200? I heard that dual channel isn't much better than single but 50 fps is pretty big to me. Is it because I have an APU? (a10-5800k)

MaxxMem benchmark from www.gamersnexus.com reported:

"We saw substantial performance differences between single- and dual-channel configurations in this testing. Memory copy, read, and write tests were heavily-advantaged with the dual-channel configuration, performing 30.79%, 26.94%, and 14.52% better in each, respectively."
