I have upgraded from a 6870 to a GTX 570 from EVGA. The performance in TF2 and garrys mod is slightly higher min but avg is lower then on 6870. on the 955 in TF2 with everything maxed except AA at 4X I get like 66+ but my AVG stays under 100 a lot. In Skyrim on High preset with AA at 4x and AF 4x I get like 32fps low and 61fps max. AVG is in mid 40s. I have latest drivers and power management thing on high performance. Any Idea? I also have my 955 at 3.86GHz which I had not had on when I had my 6870 other then awhile ago. On my 6870 my min was like 60 but my avg was higher then I get on GTX 570. I know it might be a bit of a bottleneck but Dan reports good performance with the same GPU and a 965 @ 3.8Ghz with 4GB of the same ram I have but I have 8GB.

My CPU never goes over 40-41C in game but usually 40C or less and the GPU has never reached over 67C and 45% fan. Any Ideas? Im going to upgrade to the ivy bridge version of the 2500k hopefully if I can get the money but I would like to get better performance in the mean time. I watch vids on YT of 570s with 965s and stuff at stock 3.4Ghz with 4-8GB Ram and they get great performance!

Thanks sir! You are very helpful 😀 I do the registry and bios tomorrow 😀

Also, how exactly does that software work? Just removes any entries in the registry that aren't associated with any software currently installed?

Yes as well as file associations, shortcuts, and dangerous settings that will allow outside access to you PC. It not only check your PC for malware but also changes any setting in your registry that malware may exploit. I suggest for the first deep scan to turn off disk scan and disk defrag on windows 7. Windows 7 takes care of these 2 while not being used already.

Its number 4 on cnets popular downloads so no worries about its credibility.

Why turn it off? I have defrag on manual is that okay?

Sorry I wasn't talking about windows 7's defrag. I was talking about Advanced systems care's defrag. See deep scan has an option to defrag your HD as well as a scan disk check boxs. These you don't need advanced system care to run as your windows 7 is already do those.
