[SOLVED] Slow Speed in Seagate SSD

I have recently bought the Seagate 240gb SSD internal drive, when I run the speed test, the speed I am getting is only up to 277mbps while I see the same other reviews about the same SSD drive, they are getting 500+ speed.

My motherboard is Gigabyte 78LMT-USB3 6.0v. Kindly help

That MB has SATA2 (3Gb/s) so it can't achieve full speed yet you are not loosing much speed, only at sequential reed and write, still much faster than any HDD.

Changing motherboard to anything remotely new will also require a new CPU and RAM.
