slow speeds over ethernet...?

So i pay for 60 mbit down (but usually get more) and ive had that across all devices until recently. Only on my gaming desktop am i getting slow speeds. On all other devices i get 65+ mbit/s but on my desktop i only get 8. Im plugged in through ethernet right into the router, but i dont have a wifi card so i cant switch to that.. any ideas on whats happening?

WHat speed sod you get on your phone? DOnwload Speedtest on your phone (if you have a smartphone) and test the speed of the internet. It will obviously be slower because it's a phone and over wi-fi but it should be well above 8 mbits

yes, like i said on all other devices i get 65+
just now my phone read 76

Ho ok, i'm sorry.
Update your LAN chipset drivers.
Also.
Go to device manager. Click on Netork Adaptors and then right click on the LAN adapter and click on properties. On the above tabs click in link speed. And tell me what do you have in Speed and Duplex.
