You will probably have to start a new game, play to that point, then save in order to get it right. The issue is probably that the game has had several updates since its launch, and so you have numerous bits of the game updating when you load it up and it just takes time to process. You could probably load it up and let it sit for a while and it will probably speed up though.

Unfortunately I do not think that there is any way to fix this. Did you make sure to install the Day One patch before you played? Because I know in past without installing this patch, a few Bethesda games (like Oblivion) did not effectively utilize later updates due to being created on a model which was not up to date for release. Had to restart all over again! 🙁
If your save is older than 30 hours of play time, it seems to be common among players that at this point the game starts to run a bit slower, and loading times become long and strenuous.
To be honest i'm not quite sure what causes this, but short of contacting Bethesda and asking them if there is a fix there isn't really a quick fix. Try hitting up /r/fo4 and see if they can help you.
