small budget but need new CPU

I need a new CPU. I have a GTX 980 Ti. I think my computer is bottlenecking. I am thinking of going for a i5 4960K. Any other thoughts? budget is around $230

What CPU are you using currently.

The i5 4690K will do great with the GTX 980 Ti. If you can fit the i5 6600K into the budget, it would be better.
