[SOLVED] Small component fell off my motherboard

I was installing my new motherboard (ASUS 550F) when I hear the sound of something small landing inside my case. Turns out it was this small component and after careful examination of the motherboard, I have located where it fell from. Near the RAM slots but also the interior power indicator.

It's plastic with two metal pieces on each side.

I'm not sure what it does, when Googling the number on it, I get no helpful answers.

I've not tried powering up the system, not sure that's a good idea until I know what it does and how to repair it.

It looks like it may be a VRM. Certainly something you need. If the pads are still there. You could possibly solder it back on.

A new motherboard with parts falling off?!?
RMA it back and get a new one!!!

Don't try to solder it back on, if you fail, your warranty is no good.
