As far as I know, you can't replace just the glass on newer screens as the LCD panel and the protective layer come as a package. Even if you do manage to find a glass replacement panel, which I can't find in my 60s of google searching, replacing it will be a very delicate process and requires special tools. If you take it to microcenter, there's a 99% chance they tell you to just get a new monitor. I'd say either stick it out or call Acer to see what your options are, because no one here is going to know better than a tech rep.
