Small square box at bottom of screen during start-up

Hello. I have an HP Probook 640 G3, running Windows 10 Pro x64, and when I turn on my laptop, after a second, a small square box appears at the bottom of the screen. Does anyone know what this is / what it's for? I don't think it was on there at first. Unless it's supposed to be there, I'd like to get it off. Does anyone know how? Thanks.

P.S. My laptop is touchscreen, so I tried touching the box, but nothing.

I have a couple pictures that can show what I'm talking about, but I'm not sure how to post them to the forum. It asks for a url when I try to insert a picture, but they're saved to my desktop.

I have had this happen.....and the source of this small box was actually coming from the monitor. It was like an icon that I assume meant something.
