As the title describes I'm looking to buy a new case for my build, but since I have a problem with space I need to lay it flat,in horizontal configuration, much like a console(ps4,xbox one). It needs to be able to hold an mATX motherboard and was wondering if there is a case that can also accomodate a full sized ATX power supply, since I don't like SFX power supplies, they are expensive and there isn't much variety to choose from. I live in the UK by the way so I can't buy something from the US.

Thanks in advance.

Here's a riser http://www.amazon.com/StarTech-com-Express-Adapter-Servers-PEX16RISER/dp/B002M1DHJG

The case has low profile PCIe slots because it is only 112mm thick, so the 950 will not fit in it (the case is long enough, but not tall enough). I would rather look at the Silverstone ML03 with the riser, although you will need to mod the case to get the feeds out the back.

I know of exactly zero cases that will take a mATX board and a GTX 950 and are less than about 110mm in one dimension, and know of very few that fit mITX. That was the very problem I had when building this system, in my signature. I needed a full GPU and a 110mm case. The system in my signature is the answer.

The ML07 I use, the ASRock M8 (which I have a...

I have enough space on my desk(was using a BitFenix Prodigy for the past 2 years) but my problem is that I want to conserve space and be able to fit the whole pc case in a large suitcase cause I will be travelling to my home country for 3 months during summertime. So the case needs to be low profile but just enough so that I can fit a 950 in it. Also I need to fit a standatd ATX PSU in it.

The Silverstone gd 04/05/06 are going to he about it then mate - as donkeyoatie stated to fit a full height GPU & a standard PSU the case HAS to be a minimum of 145mm on one of it dimensions.

The gd matx cases are 450x320x150 - in all honesty about as small as they can possibly make them.
I have the 06 - there is virtually no room inside once components are fitted - they are entirely geared around the lowest possible height while fitting full sized components.

I'm not there physically yet to answer your question, but If I would make an educated guess I would say I have enough space to fit a case similar to the Milo 06/07B. But the problem is I have to sacrifice both the motherboard size(mITX) and power supply (SFX) which defeats my initial purpose of a budget build, since both are expensive. I thought about the Pentium build as well but it's not quite what I'm after(I need out of the box performance).

Did you run into any problems concerning cooling?

^ cooling issues ?? No not really mate.
My case cooling is all third party now though ,mainly in a quest for quietness as it sits under my TV.

What I have in the 06 case is

Fx6300@4.3ghz (cooled with raijintek Pallas)
Galax exoc black gtx 970
3x3tb hard drives
1x256gb ssd
1x full size pioneer bluray writer.
Evga 600b PSU
3x ac f12 pro pwm PST (synced with CPU cooler) as intakes
2x 80mm fractal design silent series r2 exhausts .

With a 860k & a 950 you would be fine with the stock 3x120mm Silverstone fans that are prefitted - these are 3 pin & you get a triple molex adapter.
They are noisy at 12v - you would be advised to mod to 7v yourself or just buy a premade 7v cable - at 7v they start & run fine, still decent airflow & much quieter.

I would advise against the gd06 for travelling - the steel front plate adds 1/2gk to the weight + the hot dock bays both take up a lot of internal space as opposed to both the gd 04 & 05.

Thank you very much but in light of recent evidence I have decided that I'm probably gonna go with a Pentium G3258 since it outperforms the AMD 860K in almost every game and is easily overclockable even with the stock heatsink, and since the primary use of the pc is for WoW and HOTS then there's really no point in going with an mATX board etc etc. A mini ITX board will do just fine,so I'll probably use the ML06/07B, whichever one is cheaper and more compact.

That case should definitely still work to fit your ATX power supply.
