I have had a Macbook Pro Laptop for 7 years now, and recently it has begin to act unbelievably slow and buggy, especially when online, which concerns me because I am a heavy smoker, and have not been regularly cleaning the laptop....
Has my smoking destroyed the computer somehow, or is it just dying of old age??
I have a fan on the same desk as the laptop that I keep blowing whenever I am using it, and I was hoping this would avoid the smoke from getting into the laptop, but I am not fully confident in this anymore really. I think I will crack it open to get a look at the insides, while crossing my fingers that the damage is minimal, but I am not truly hopeful of this either.
I honestly cannot afford to get a new computer right now, and am looking for any advice to proceed with THIS unit.
