Question So i Installed 2 x 8gb Vengence ddr4 sticks and my bios only shows one of the two working

msi twin frozr 7 2060 video card
2 x 8 GB ddr4 corsair vengence ram sticks

please help me find a solution thanks

Your motherboard has 4 RAM slots. Which ones have you populated with your 2 sticks now?

Took a while to find it in the manual, but it says the same. Could be that one stick is DOA. I take it you've tried switching places of the 2 sticks?

Try with single ram module. Try all ram slots.
Then do the same with second ram module.

If one module doesn't work in any slot, then this module is bad.
If neither module works in particular slot, then the slot is bad (possibly bent cpu socket pins).

so what i should do is boot my pc with one ram at a time to see if either isnt working?

what will happen if i turn on my pc with a ram that isnt working and how do i know it isnt working?

If your system boots, then ram module used is fine.

So turns out one of my RAM isnt working, what should I do now that i know it doesnt work, I already took it out of my PC
