So my RAM is supposedly shorting my PSU?

I went through the PERFORM THESE STEPS checklist and got to the direct quote where he talks all about breadboarding.

Took everything out of the case except for CPU and HSF and booted it without RAM right on the mobo box (yes i made the proper connections). Without RAM: continuous short beeps like I was hoping for. Tried installing one stick on each slot but there was silence every time.

I was reading another post describing the same problem and the community thought it was the PSU or the mobo but the OP came back and said it was the RAM (they had borrowed a friend's).

Prove me wrong, but some part is faulty and needs to be returned. Now my question is, since it doesn't seem to be sure which part it is... what do i replace? or what should i do so I can avoid replacement?

Thanks

the mobo seems to be working as the cpu fan spins and all the LEDs work so should i try replacing the RAM? maybe i could find some ram that is known to work but sadly i dont know where i would get any
