So tired of trying to get this to work im begging for help

So, I purchased a windows 8.1 pro key from a seller on bonanza last night. The seller had 95% positive reviews, so im hoping it wasn't a scam or anything. But I have tried EVERYTHING to get my bootable USB to work on the computer i just built. It keeps coming up with "The product key you entered does not match any of the windows images available for installation. Enter a different product key." I've went in and done the ei.cfg thing to skip product key, and it still says this/asks for one. I even went and made the PID.txt file in my sources folder, and it doesn't ask me to type it in anymore, it just pops up with that message, so i know it's reading the PID file..Everything i've tried has failed, can someone please help me..

Is your Copy of windows the same exact as the code needs? The error message leads me to believe that the Key ode and your copy of windows are not matching. One could be for Pro and the other could be standard/one OEM one not... as and example.

[strike]Would downloading a Windows 8 Pro IOS and downloading a windows 8.1 Pro IOS be different? I'm downloading just windows 8 pro ios files and mounting them, but I bought a windows 8.1 Pro key..? Could that be it? If not i'm for sure picking windows 8 Pro for the type of IOS files.. with windows creation media tool Would 8 and 8.1 be different?[/strike]

Actually just re-checked it, and I was doing 8.1 Pro Ios files.. Gosh this is so frustrating.. So now I have no idea again.

I will say here the same thing that many, many others' here have already tried to tell people about buying Windows Keys. The ONLY place you should buy them is from a licensed Windows retailer, or directly from Microsoft. Any place else is a gamble. If the key is being sold at a price that is cheaper than you can get it directly from Microsoft, you are really taking a chance. It may very well have been a valid key at one time, but Microsoft is vigilant about disabling illegal keys. Contact the seller you got it from and see what they have to say.

I know it probably wasn't the brightest thing, but they had positive reviews... But my luck lol.
