I can afford 3 types of monitors(all 19 inches, 1600x1200 maximum res)):
#1.Samsung SyncMaster 950p - 17.9(samsing says 18, but PCWORLD says 17.9) viewable. 0.26 dot pitch,TCO99,119hz at 1024x768, rated ONE in PCWORLD magazine for VERY good TEXT AND GRAPHICS QUALITY(says good shadow mask, WHAT IS SHADOW MASK?). $300
#2. Optiquest Q95 18.2 viewable 107Hz at 1024x769 and .27 dot pitch.
#3. Samsung 955DF perfectly flat- 18 viewable, .26 dot pitch but low refresh rate, I don't know about image quality, but cheaper then #1 (samsung 950p).
WHICH ONE IS BETTER??? I think #2 isn't any good, #1 seems to be the best one , but only 17.9 viewable????? Is 17.9 has a big diference with 18.2?????????? I need a good suggestion!!!!!!
