Hey there I have notebook (laptop) asus k52JB, and curently I have 2gb of ddr3 ram.
Memory Type DDR3
Memory Size 2 GBytes
Channels Single
Memory Frequency 532.1 MHz (4:16)
CAS# latency (CL) 7.0
I just bought new ram kingstons 4gb 1600MHz (PC3-12800 CL11) and replaced the old stick. So as I read every where 1600 should work as 1066 as that is max speed that I could get. I have win7 32bit OS and Intel(R) Pentium(R) CPU P6100 @ 2.00GHz processor.
I updated BIOS, but I can not turn my computer on, I can not access to BIOS at all with new ram. What could be the problem?

Best regards!

L is just low voltage, it will work fine. if Crucial has it in there it matches correctly with your system, they are known for compatibility.
The specs of that new ram are extremely different than the Ram you had in there, its likely not compatible with your laptop at all. That will prevent you from entering the BIOS.

Return the ram, go to www.crucial.com and see if they sell something that will work for you.

Thanks Rouge Leader! In store nearby I can replace it with SODIMM DDR3 4GB 1333MHz Kingston, KVR13S9S8/4? So is there way to know will this one work?
Again, thanks a lot on answer!

No I don't think that will work either, again timings are significantly different.

Crucial has the memory you need for 18 bucks (3rd one down).
