[SOLVED] Software clutter,.very slow running computer

My cousin's Dell Inspiron 3670 is running EXCEPTIONALLY SLOW. It takes forever for programs and info to come up. It has an Intel i5 CPU and 8 gigs of ram as far as I can tell. I think it's software clutter. I'm pretty good with hardware,....but not so hot with software. She's very upset if not insane over her computer running S-L-O-W-L-Y. Are there any sofware guys/fixers in the Fort Worth area or remotely to clear the clutter out and speed her machine up?

Declutter programs or software recommendations? Help please,.....I'm tired of listening to her bitch, moan and whine about her computer.

To start, look in Task Manager - Processes.
See what is running.

Don't add any 'declutter' things until you get a handle on the actual problem.

It also might be some malware running in the background.
