Software like CPU-Z and GPU-Z but for the Motherboard ?

Hi i want to know more info about my motherboard like what speeds the slots are running at because i have a dual gpu setup is there software that i can download to monitor these ?

For your motherboard I would suggest using MSI Command Center (Yes other people may think differently but this program helps me monitor everything in my pc)

For graphics cards I would suggest downloading MSI AfterBurner, that's a great program too

For graphics cards I would suggest downloading MSI AfterBurner, that's a great program too

That has a PCI - e x16, which is the fastest GPU slot. You won't have any problem with that

Even if the slots run at PCIE 3.0 x8 it does not mean that SLI will work. That board specifically does not support SLI.

This may be because the second slot's PCIe lanes are shared with the M.2 slot or other slots on the board.

so i guess i won't be able to add my second 970 right ? some people tell me oh it will work and others don't i want an exact answer this is my first PC and i want to know if it is possible or not.

It is not possible. Reviewing the book for your motherboard shows your second GPU slot only runs at x4. That works for Crossfire but NOT SLI.

As per the board's specs SLI is not supported. Whoever told you that doesn't know what they are talking about.
