Software needed for the Clover cdr4170 DVR

Now I did some research and I couldn't really find proper software for what you are asking, only these 2 links. Did you receive a CD with your box? Did you get a USB cable? The product reviews say it is plug and play which would suggest you could use it like a USB and just plug the Clover DVR into your PC. Also it says internet IP support, look underneath the device and see if it has a default IP or log into your router and see if the DVR is connected to your network. If it is, use the IP you see and insert it into the URL of a web browser and see if you can access it that way. If they haven't provided you with anything else it may be a case of taking it into a shop that can pull out the HDD and get the data that way. (you could yourself but if you don't know much about them you could cause something to go wrong so just be aware.)
