Question Software Protection Platform is stuck at stopping state.

I stopped the software protection because it was using too much cpu but now its just stuck at a stopping state.

Update your post to include full system hardware specs and Windows 10 edition/version information.

Where/how did you get Windows 10?

How much cpu was "software protection" using and how was the cpu usage value determined?

The Software Protection service (Sppsvc.exe) handles the digital license for Windows and Windows applications.

it shouldn't be using any CPU really.

Did you try a restart?
