Got a dual boot system. One drive is an ADATA SX8200PNP and the other is a Crucial CT512MX100SSD1. Crucial won't boot anymore, but its readable and writable when the system disk is the ADATA.

Any suggestions of which software to use?

  1. Please give us a FULL parts list of this system. To include what OS's are on each drive.
  2. Is this a recent problem?
  3. What was the LAST thing you did before this happened?
  4. Is there a known good full drive backup of all data associated?

Please post a screencap of your current Disk Management window.

Boot from the adata
Go to add new entry and add the OS on the crucial
Adata drive will now have the dual boot for both disks.
Doing anything more is dangerous and could make your whole system unbootable which is why USAFRet asks about the full backup, if you don't have a full clone image of your crucial drive and a way to boot into a software that can write it back to disk, you shouldn't do anything else.
