Question Software to copy or move files

Hello, what software is best for copy or moving files? To evoid errors and have the option to very files after operation, to be sure that copied or moved files are exactly identical with the original, like it was before? Thanks

Never Move, only Copy/Paste.
Delete the originals after verification.

I just use the regular File Explorer.
Anything else is just an overlay on top of those same commands.

Hello, thanks for reply. I use File Explorer and gave me errors and lost lot of data 🙁 Thats why i dont want to use it anymore, want a better alternative
 
Just random closed operation dialog, no explaination
It's either a problem with your Windows or your drives (source or target), or maybe the usb port if you are using an external drive. The Windows built-in copy/paste always works just fine on a healthy system.

But if you have Windows 10 or 11 you could try to install WSL (Windows Subsystem for Linux) and use Linux commands like cp or rsync. But if the problem is with your hardware it won't work any better.
