Software to run a check on HDD SSD ?

Hello, very simple question :

Which Software do you recommand to run a check on my computer health? (especialy HDD / SSD)?

I would like to know the temperatures and if they function properly, because recently I started to heard some weird sounds coming from these and the computer been processing more slowly as well.

Each vendor will have specific apps to test their products.
WD has data lifeguard to test their hard drives.
Samsung has Magician to test their ssd's.
If you have s.m.a.r.t. activated, you can get some statistics on retry and reallocated blocks.

CrystalDiskInfo

Non-vender specific, I believe. I use it regularly on HDDs & SSDs prior to running multi-pass wipes. If they can't pass CrystalDiskInfo tests, drives just get shredded because they will often fail in the wiping process anyway.

I use HARD DISK SENTINEL

Although it is tailored more toward HDDs it also shows a lot of info about SSDs.

I also use Seagate's "Seatools for Windows" on my Seagate HDD.
