Soldier of Fortune

Having a problem installing Soldier of Fortune on my computer. Installation gets about halfway or so, then my moniter goes blank. Computer works fine with other games I have installed.(Kingpin, Blood2,Hitman), just not this game. Any suggestions?

AMD 700mhz Duron,20gig,256k,Radeon VIVO 64mb DDR,KDS 17"

maybe its your 256k ram? id be surprised if you can run at a resolution higher than 300x400 on your desktop.
