Solid State Drive and Hard Drive help

I am going to be building a gaming PC and work PC. I would like to know if there are any advantages of having a Solid State Drive combined with a Hard Drive over a computer with just a Hard Drive. The Hard Drive I will be getting is a Seagate Barracuda 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive. I would like recommendations of a good SSD in the price range of $100-$160.

Also I would like to know some recommendations of a good Hard Drive.

Your only advantages of having an SSD as well will be faster pc startup times and faster loading of programs stored on the SSD. If you plan to store your games on the HDD, having an SSD will not speed up the games in loading a new level. Most people with SSDs just put windows, their normal office apps and a handful of their all time favorite games on it. Then put the rest on their larger HDD. In my opinion, a 7200 HDD is plenty fast and my PC boots up very quickly, so I don't see the need for the extra expense. Look up SSD/HDD boot up comparison videos on youtube if you want to see the difference in boot up time you will have.

I recommend Western Digital Black Series hard drives. I absolutely love mine. Fast, reliable, quiet and runs cool.
