Last night I formatted and put w7 RC 64 bit on my PC. Now, I've had this problem before but in a slightly different way, w7 picked up my graphics card straight away, and it reccomended the nvidia driver to install, when I went to set up my dual monitors, it had them the wrong way round. Basically I cannot remember how you get them the right way round, I tried changing the primary monitor but it keeps making it so I have to go left to get to the right monitor and vice versa.

I have fixed this before but for the life of me cannot remember how to sort it.

Any ideas? : )

Thanks.

Solution
Hmm... Reset the monitor using it's own controls. If that doesn't work, shut down, unplug it, start up on only the one. Then shut down and add it back in.

Shouldn't matter, but are the two monitors the same resulotion? And are you using the latest nVidia drivers?

Solution
they are identical syncmasters, both run at the same res (until last night) and I'm using the drivers suggested by W7.

I will try booting with one, then plugging other in and adding it as an extended desktop (once I get home).

Really pee'd me off because I can't remember how I fixed it last time on XP.

Thanks though.
