Hi!

I was wondering what the EPS cable is, if you know please let me know. Also I want to know if it's necessary. My motherboard is the Asus Z270-A.

And also, I want to buy a Cablemod extension kit, but I don't know which one to get. I saw one with: 1x 24 pin, 1x pcie 8 pin, 1x pcie 6 pin and an EPS 1x 4+4 pin EPS.
I want extensions for my, 24 pin motherboard, GPU and CPU.

Thanks!

I already figured out.

Solution
the ESP cable is for the cpu, it will plug into the 8pin in the upper left hand side of your motherboard.

These cables are normally a 8pin on both ends and marked ESP or are a 8 pin on one end and a 4+4 on the other. The Cablemod kit you are looking at will work for what you need.
