Hi all. I've been running on W10 for about a month or so since repairing my computer (replaced the motherboard/gfx card/psu) and it was originally on W7. The motherboard (MSI Z97 Intel LGA 1150 DDR3 USB 3.0 ATX Gaming Motherboard) came with an onboard Killer E2200 NIC. When I switched over to W10 it worked perfectly fine, no changes in speed, stability or service and then about 2 or 3 nights ago there was an update for my computer (I'm fairly certain it was for the xbox one wireless adapter drivers to be installed) and when the computer booted back up I could no longer connect to the internet. I've tried multiple fixes and read a bunch of other forums. Fixes I've tried include:
Disabling and re-enabling the Ethernet controller
Unplugging the PC for hours and coming back to it (with cords disconnected)
Resetting the router/modem (they're one in the same)
Reset TCP/IP settings
Flushed DNS
ipconfig /release and /renew (both of which result in negative feedback)
/ping 127.0.0.1 (also negative results)
Entering adapter options and disabling IPv6 as well as ISATAP adapters in the device manager
Going into Registry and making sure that all users had full control in the appropriate NSI folder
and quite possibly a few other things that I have not done.

I ultimately conceded to the fact that it could be the onboard card is just dead (unlikely with a new motherboard < 2 months old but quite possible) so I went out and picked up a USB to Ethernet adapter, installed the drivers via USB and STILL have the same issues that I had before. I no longer have any clue what I need to be doing and I'm at my wit's end. If anyone could help out that would be wonderful. I'll edit (or post) with my ipconfig /all shortly. Thank you!

Edit: ipconfig /all (latest result after changing to the USB Ethernet adapter)
C:\WINDOWS\system32>ipconfig /all

Called them up and got the values but it doesn't seem to be working still. Get a DNS server is not responding now although the DNS suffix and the server IP are correct. Verified the server IP against the other 2 wired computers just to make sure.

This 169.254.151.24 should be a valid ip within the modem's range (that you're using)

If you log into the modem with 192.168.1.1 or something thats what the above ip address has to start with

You have to find out what the ip is to login to your modem. Then find out what its valid ip range is.

And I dont think hsd1.md.comcast.net has to be under dns

Once that happens do I just try plugging in different ips?

I'm getting a "Your Internet connection is blocked." Though I've disabled firewall and Antivirus and it's still not working

I tried loading 192.168.1.1 and Chrome gave me that error. Disabled the windows firewall

Not by any means a network whiz but isnt 169 the number between ranges which means it is a invalid ip?

ah okay was just trying to clarify i thought you had said the 169.254.151.24 was valid.

Yeah, I couldn't get to log into the modem. No matter what IP I typed in I got a "Internet Connection is blocked"

Edit: Side question, would resetting the computer (doing the windows reinstall) roll back all the factory drivers and remove any previous installed updates? I assume the issue came from a driver I installed but I've no clue which and I can't system restore further back than when the issue started but could I just do a reinstall of windows to fix this?

192.168.1.1 has usually worked for me but that was a different modem. I wasn't aware that changed. I did find and attempt to use their specific modem IP for log in and it's still blocked Internet Access

Yeah 10.0.0.1 was it and no luck
