I've been stumped on this issue for a while so I'm tossing it out there for you all to ponder.
I have a GTX590 that I cannot for the life of me upgrade past the drivers 275.33

It's been quite annoying as it creates stability issues when playing Battlefield 3.
Anyone know any fix's for this Nvidia is stumped also.

Setup

ASUS 990FX
AMD Black Edition (O.C. 3.8ghz)
ASUS GTX 590
8gb Kingston HyperX Ram 1600mhz
Kingston V+ SSD 128gb

Yep.
Heck reinstalled OS again and loaded them as my first choice, and still the same issue.
(Not using a Nvidia GPU, even though it's the only GPU installed.)

had the card RMA'd a while ago, but was doing the same thing before the RMA, so in essence I got a different GPU but same issue even after a fresh install of OS and drivers.

I want to say it's a chipset issue with my 990FX but I don't know.
XD

Solved the Issue.

The problem is the motherboard, sense it is a ASUS Sabertooth 990FX board.
It has PEG - PCI, it was set on PEG which after a quick reading just simply overclocks the GPU, however once I set it to PCI there were no issues as it ran at it's recommended speed without any "personalized" tweaking from the motherboard itself.

So in essence switching from PEG to PCI fixed the issues and enabled me to update my drivers as well.
