[SOLVED] Power cycle no beep code

Hey guys quick one here I hope. I moved my pcs location and upon powering on nothing happened, I performed the usual troubleshooting steps. Re say power cord flipped the switch. Even pressed the button unplugged to push that last bit of power through and tried again. Still nothing so I removed the cmos battery waited and replaced it. Now it power cycles once. Comes back on gives no audio indication and no video. Any thoughts on how to fix this or is my mobo toast?

Hi, Try leaving only CPU and CPU cooler installed, both 24 and 8 pin power cables connected (remove RAMs, graphics card, all other components/wires). Start the board and see if the CPU fan does spin.

Not to sure how to just reply to that. I just traded placed with my vr rig like powers cords and all just dragged the thing over pluged it in and it worked. I have noidea what fixed it i just think im lucky. Any thoughts on why it randomly worked, something id like to know for the future.

Probably a faulty connection of the CPU power cable.

Honestly no idea what fixed it. I have sinced moved it back to where i wanted it and it seems to be fine. Makes sense about cpu power but that would still give an error code series of quick beeps I do believe. Either way working now thanks for the responses!
