[SOLVED] Restarted from Ubuntu menu, cannot boot to Ubuntu now.

This is what appears when I start my computer now. Whatever I do, a few seconds later, it shows an error for a split second then goes to a blinking cursor. If I hit the power button on my case, it says "Ubuntu [insert current version here, I can't remember]" with 5 dots below it then some text appears next to the dots and goes down 3 lines in some weird format (something about a modemmanager is shutting down? or something??) The shuts off.

I just went into recovery and messed around for a while, repairing broken packages. When I launched into failsafe graphics mode (Or something like that, it worked.
