Hello.
First of all I would like to state that this is not a troll post.

Why do people ask if they can run a game with their specifications? Wouldn't it be easier and much faster to google "Minimum Requirements" and compare with your PC's specs? Perhaps people being lazy or there is actually a valid reason for consulting a Tech Forum with such inquiry?

Thank you in advance.

But in all fairness everything can be Googled. How do I access the Control Panel in Windows 10? Someone could Google and see Right-click start and click on Control Panel. That answer is outdated. You're too dumb or lazy to Google so I ain't gonna help. But Google told me wrong!!! What about Group Policy? Some things are constantly changing. We aren't here to replace or even be compared to Google. Just to help is all Boss. I just want to help.
Some will ask before they buy the game, looking for experiences from those who actually run the game.
They want to know if they will be happy buying the game.

The official minimum and recommended requirements are sometimes wildly inaccurate.
Either too high or too low.

Well recommended requirements don't list every piece of hardware that meets the requirements. You usually just get one set of specs for min and one set for recommended. People who have hardware that is not listed may not know if they can run the game. Also a lot of people new to PC gaming have no idea what all those specs mean.

That said, yes some people are certainly just lazy. Or just like spamming the forum asking questions they already know the answer to.

From all of the posts that I have seen, many people are either lazy or just not smart enough to Google what the requirements are. Unfortunately there are a lot of people who get on here that probably shouldn't be using computers, but are overclocking the piss out of CPU and GPU and then wonder why it doesn't work when the brick some hardware. They also move hard drives from one computer to another and wonder why it doesn't work well and when you suggest they reload Windows, they ask how?! Helping people is more of a frustration than the warm fuzzy feeling that you should get from being a nice and helpful person.

You can compare them. Someone else sees the hardware and they've no clue what's good or bad or better or worse.

A similar question can be applied to your question. I can go to the top of this page or the forum(everything) page and type in a query in the Search box(maybe 'can my PC play PUBG'). That may shed some light on the why.

Simply put they don't KNOW hardware like many members at Tom's does. Because we do and they don't they ask because they don't know.

I agree 100%. There are so many people on here that ask so basic questions and then say they want to overclock CPU and GPU and then ask something basic like what power connector goes in the video card.
Overclocking is not needed for 100% of computers. People need to stop watching youtube and think that overclocking is what they need to do.
