Question solving bluetooth speaker latency

So I have a fairly inexpensive / cheap bluetooth speaker that has a noticeable lag between the video and audio. The main API in question is youtube, but I know it is a system problem because it was a noticeable difference between speakers, the other being a better quality JBL bluetooth speaker. What I would like to do is compensate for this lag by delaying the video. Are there any tools out there to accomplish this?

BTW, I am downgrading speaker quality, because the new unit does not shut off with no sound but wait until losing bluetooth connection.

What device are you using to emit the audio to the speakers?

Preliminary answer is the app itself or the system has to be able to compensate for Bluetooth latency. If it's not doing it, then there's likely nothing else you can do about it.

the internal bluetooth transmitter of the laptop ..

isn't there a way to delay the video some ms to compensate?
