I have a pre built but have never actually built a pc. There are some things that i dont understand for example the case im getting has 3 D)RGB fans preinstalled and i dont know how or where they connect to and whether i can get addition fans.
My build is:

GPU:MSI GTX 1660 Ti Ventus XS OC
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600
Mobo: ASrock b450 steel legend
RAM:16gb(2 x 8gb) 3200mhz
Storage: 480gb ssd 1tb hdd
Case: Phentaks P400a digital
PSU: Corsair gold txm 550+ gold

ANy advice if i missed something would be much appreciated.

Make and model of the 480GB SSD? You should look at a small capacity(250GB) NVMe SSD for the OS and app's, and a similar sized SATA based SSD for the game library, if your budget allows. The DRGB you're speaking of can be found on Gigabyte boards, that being said the ASRock baord you've got in that list does not have the necessary connection or header for the fans. I'd advise on picking out another case with an ARGB connection like the P300A.

If I were you, I'd just build an matx form factor system if you don't intend to go for high end GPU's or crazy/exotic cooling.

Apologies, I went through the case you were initially looking at and the manuals for both the case and the motherboard. You can take advantage of the ARGB header on the ASRock when pairing it with the DRGB fans in the case. FYI, they should connect to the ARGB header on the motherboard.

Regarding the SSD, see if you can source a Team MP33 512GB, it's higher in capacity and probably slightly pricier than the Kingston drive.

Do the argb fans daisy chain to the 3 preinstalled case fans and then to the controller in the case. What is the ARGB header for?
Sorry this fan stuff is confusing me
